According to Psychologist, speaker, motivator,  Dr. Amir Georges Sabongui Happiness is derived from three different categories.

30% of happiness comes from genetics.  Genes passed down from our parents that turn into specific traits.  Serotonin is one example, it is produced in the brain and in the intestine, and contributes to feelings of happiness.   

10% of happiness comes from circumstance.  Salvestor Stallone once said “The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows.  It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.”  This is a line from Rocky where he played a boxer.  The quote is literal and pretty dramatic but, my point is in life there are good days and bad days – the 10% covers the bad.

A whopping 60% of happiness comes from fulfilling activity.  This means we are more than 50% in charge of our own happiness.  As long as we choose to spend our life doing the things that make us happy – we can lead a happy and fulfilling life.


Fulfilling Fall Activities That Bring Happiness into my Life:

Drive up North to see the Fall Foliage,

Drink all of the lattes – matcha lattes, turmeric lattes, and pumpkin spiced lattes.

Spend my evenings reading at home with a comfy blanket and scented candle.

Spend my entire Sunday, every Sunday, cleaning and listening to my favourite music.

Dim the lights and step into a long hot shower at the end of the day.

Spend QT with my heart healers.
